1. 16MnDR product introduction:
16MnDR is a plate for low-temperature pressure vessels, "D" and "R" stand for low temperature. It is the most used in the production of low-temperature pressure vessels, and is widely used in the manufacture of single-layer coiled welding vessels, integral multi-layer clamping vessels, multi-layer wrapping vessels, hot-sleeve vessels and spherical vessels. However, because the standard i***ct energy index of 16MNDR steel plate is low, some pressure vessel design units choose 09MnNiDR steel plate of -7 degree grade when designing -40 degree low temperature pressure vessel.

5. Research on the microstructure and low temperature toughness of Wugang 16MnDR steel welded joints:
(1). As an economical C-Mn steel, 16MnDR is widely used in the low-temperature pressure vessel industry. The low-temperature toughness of its welded joints plays an important role in the safe operation of the 16MnDR steel structure. In this paper, three kinds of welding wires ER49-1, ER70-G and ER69-1 were used to prepare 16MnDR steel welded joints. The metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope, i***ct tester and micro hardness tester were used to study the structure and mechanical properties of the joints. The chemical composition of Wugang 16MnDR --- The results show that when the weld contains a large amount of acicular ferrite, the weld has a high low-temperature i***ct toughness; the micro-fracture of acicular ferrite is a dimple-shaped fracture.
